EMBL-ABR/GOBLET/BioSharing Survey on Standards for Bioscientists

EMBL-ABR https://www.embl-abr.org.au/ has created a survey towards getting an overview picture of Standards, awareness and usage across Australia Biosciences. Standards matter and are fundamental across the data life cycle. It became clear the value of extending this to others around the globe, so in collaboration with GOBLET Standards Committee http://www.mygoblet.org/content/standards, we are also now collecting this information across the globe.

ACCESS SURVEY HERE https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/EMBL-ABRStandards17

EMBL-ABR’s aim is to utilised the collected information to direct their efforts and resources for the maximum impact for the needs of the Australian research community when it comes to standards across key areas in bioinformatics including data, tools, workflows and training.

Together with GOBLET and BIoSharing, we will be analysing how this differs or not with trends across other geographical areas.

There are 14 questions and it should not take more than 5-10 minutes to complete.

The responses and analysis of the results will be displayed in BioSharing https://biosharing.org/
Please, help spread and promote the survey in your communities. We have a deadline for this survey to be completed by 11 June 2017.
