This workshop, hosted by ELIXIR-PT in cooperation with ELIXIR-SI, organised as a satellite event of the 2017 GOBLET AGM, will focus on the design and production of the e-learning materials.
E-learning is a form of education that uses information and communication technologies to facilitate learning, and to connect learners with each other and with their teachers.
This workshop aims at those who are interested to learn more about modern e-learning methods and technologies. It will benefit both the beginner and the more advanced user. We will start by introducing general concepts, and then continue to a step-by-step description of the major components of an e-learning course. There will be a mix of lectures and practical exercises. After the workshop, participants will be aware of common practices in contemporary e-learning, and be able to create an e-learning course on their own.
