The International Society for Computational Biology (ISCB) initiated Outstanding Contributions award starting from 2015. Researchers with immense contributions to service, education and leadership are honored with this award. During the International Conference on Intelligent Systems for Molecular Biology (ISMB) 2021, Teresa Attwood, Professor emirita at the University of Manchester, was announced as the winner of Outstanding Contributions by ISCB.
