ISMB/ECCB 2021 was recently held from 25-30 July, with more than 2,100 participants from nearly 80 countries.

The presentation included the objective, members and activities of the organisation. The Annual General Meeting 2021 (AGM 2021) was announced to be held from 11-15 October 2021, CEST 12-16, hosted by EMBnet and ELIXIR Italy.
On July 25, 2021, GOBLET members Melissa Burke, Celia van Gelder and Patricia M. Palagi conducted a Workshop on Education in Bioinformatics 2021 (WEB2021), which was well received.
From July 26-27, 2021, GOBLET members Annette McGrath and Patricia M.Palagi chaired the Education COSI: Computational Biology and Bioinformatics Education and Training. The programme for this track is available here:
